Traditional, spiritual, inviting
We worship on Sundays at 8:00am and 10:30am, with Sunday School classes for Preschoolers through adults in between services. In the summer months, we have one service at 9:00 am.
Our worship centers on the word of God, especially Jesus Christ, proclaimed and shared in the Lord’s Supper. We lift our voices in praise to God and prayers for the world, our community, and each other.
For young families, we provide a supervised nursery during the 10:30am service. We also supply themed coloring books and other quiet activities for kids attending the service.
Our Beliefs and Sacraments
Through Baptism we believe God promises to deliver us from sin and death and adopts us as children.
Through the bread and wine of Communion God nourishes our faith, forgives our sin, and calls us to be witnesses to the Gospel.
Music in Worship
The Chancel Choir rehearses and sings weekly in worship, with a repertoire that spans several centuries, offering their time, talents, and vocal praises to the glory of God. Treble singers who have choral experience are most welcome to join us!
The Festival Choir meets seasonally to rehearse and sing for feast days in the church year. This mixed choir welcomes new members who have choral experience to join us for Reformation Sunday, All Saints Sunday, Christmas, Easter, and Pentecost.
The Handbell Choir rings three octaves of handbells in worship on a monthly basis, as well as for the major feasts of the church year. Individuals high school age and older able to commit to a weekly rehearsal are encouraged to speak with our Cantor about membership.
In the coming months we will be working to reconstitute our Children’s Choir with weekly rehearsals that include age- and developmentally-appropriate instruction, the opportunity to sing monthly, and lots of fun! Please contact David Ruhf for more information.
All of our choirs are directed by our cantor, David Ruhf.
