Pastor Jennifer Hall
I am Pastor Jennifer Hall (pictured here with my husband, Pastor Scott Hall, Pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Nazareth). I will be serving as your Transitional Pastor beginning on March 19th.
I was born and raised in Leigh, Nebraska, a small farming community. I went to college at Wayne State College in Wayne, NE, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade children for four years in Nebraska, all the while serving as a youth director or volunteer in local congregations. During that time I discerned my call to ministry through conversations with pastors, experiences on a mission in Tanzania, Africa, and encouragement from family. I attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota during which time I completed my internship in Sierra Vista, Arizona. It was there that I fell in love with warm weather year round. After graduating from seminary in 2004, I served as a pastor for 12 years in both the Austin and Houston areas of Texas. In 2016 I was called to serve in Pittsburgh, PA where I also met Scott. We were married on November 21, 2019 and I moved to Nazareth on the 22nd! Since I’ve arrived in the area I have served as pulpit supply in a few area congregations.
I am honored to serve as your pastor during this time of transition at Trinity Lutheran Church. I look forward to walking alongside you in ministry throughout the coming months.
“This is my [God’s] command – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
