The Rev. Dr. Christian Eichorn was unanimously elected to be Pastor of Trinity on Sunday, December 3rd. He began his tenure on Tuesday, January 16th, 2007. The congregation celebrated his first Sunday with coffee and fellowship following both services on Sunday January 21st.

Pastor Eichorn has been ordained for 23 years. He started his ministry in Burlington, North Carolina serving as an Associate Minister for a congregation with over 1000 members. He also served as Pastor of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stanley, NC. He returned to his roots in Allentown in 1994 to focus on his doctorate from Drew University. While in Allentown, he served at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (over 900 members) as Assisting Pastor under Pastor Walter Wagner. He shared many of the pastoral duties including preaching, worship planning, visitations, confirmation class, and adult Bible study. Among his other responsibilities, he also revitalized the high school youth group which grew from 6 to over 20 youth.
